Pool and Spa Filter Replacement in Los Angeles, CA

Pool Filter Replacement

A pools filter system is made up of the pumps that circulate the water and move the water through the filters, and the filters that capture the unwanted particles in the pool water.  After a period of use, filters will capture so many particles that they will be unable to collect more particles.  Water will be moving through them, but they won’t be filtering out any unwanted particles.  At that point, they will need to be cleaned.  Clean filters are white but after prolonged use they will turn brown and gray from all the dirt and debris like these filters below:

Filter cleaning is part of our cleaning services.  However, filters can also break down or be damaged and cease to function altogether.  When this occurs, a cleaning will not suffice, and the filter will actually need to be replaced.  Therefore, at Biglar Pool’s, our first goal is to properly clean your filters anywhere from 1-4 times a year depending on your Filtration System to reduce the need to purchase new filters.  If there is a filter issue, we inspect your filtration system to determine what the true issue is.  If the breakdown is coming from the Filters and cleaning won’t fix the issue, we will first look to repair the Filter if possible, to save you money.  Lastly, if that doesn’t work, we will recommend a Filter replacement.

We replace filters on all Filtration Systems, so we have you covered regardless of what system you use!  Call us if you are having an issue with your Filtration System for a quick and cost-effective repair!  Systems we repair are:

  • Sand Filters
  • Diatomaceous Earth Filters (D.E. Filters)
