Swimming in the dark can be fun and exciting, but it can also be dangerous.   If your pool light isn’t working, chances are you need a bulb replacement, not necessarily a new fixture.  Replacing a light bulb in your house is trivial, replacing a light bulb in a pool is not because if the light housing is not put back on correctly after replacing the bulb, water can leak into the fixture and require a full replacement of the fixture in the future.  On the bright side, replacing the bulb provides an opportunity to switch to an energy efficient LED which will save you money on your energy bill.
